I'm a Senior UX Designer with over 20 years of experience creating enterprise cloud experiences at VMware and Amazon Web Services. My work focuses on solving complex problems for technical audiences. I build products that are both powerful and intuitive.

Throughout my career, I've specialized in areas where design can have the most impact. Complex workflows, cost transparency, data driven interfaces, and large scale platform experiences. I believe great enterprise UX isn't about hiding complexity. It's about revealing the right information at the right time.

Work Philosophy

Design is problem solving, not decoration. Every pixel should serve a purpose, every interaction should feel inevitable, and every experience should respect the user's time and intelligence.

I approach design work through these principles.

• Start with the problem, not the solution. Deep understanding of user pain points and business constraints comes before any wireframes or mockups.
• Make the complex approachable. Enterprise software doesn't have to be complicated. Progressive disclosure, clear information hierarchy, and thoughtful defaults can make powerful tools feel simple.
• Design with data, not assumptions. Customer research, usage analytics, and feedback loops should inform every decision. Validate early, iterate often.
• Sweat the details. The difference between good and great is in the microinteractions, the edge cases, the error states. The parts users notice when things go wrong.
• Ship and learn. A shipped experience beats a perfect deck. Real users provide better feedback than any internal review.

Design Ethos

I believe the best enterprise UX emerges from close collaboration between design, engineering, and product. I work best embedded with teams. Understanding technical constraints, participating in sprint planning, and iterating alongside developers.

My background spans the full design spectrum. Strategic planning, customer research, interaction design, visual design, and front end prototyping. I can facilitate design workshops, conduct user interviews, create high fidelity mockups, and write production HTML/CSS when needed.

I'm drawn to problems that sit at the intersection of technical complexity and human understanding. Where helping users grasp sophisticated concepts can unlock entirely new workflows. Cost optimization tools, infrastructure ordering flows, data analysis platforms. These are the challenges that energize me.
